I started Without Compromise because my skin was falling apart.

Rashes. Inflammation. Itchiness that kept me up at night. Three autoimmune diseases made my body hypersensitive to almost everything—especially the "safe" products on store shelves.

For years, I trusted mainstream skincare. I used the products everyone else used. I assumed that if they were on shelves, they were safe. I was wrong.

My skin stayed dry. My inflammation lingered. And when my husband and I started trying to conceive, the pieces began to fall into place. Modern skincare and eating habits had taken their toll on our bodies.

We were told we had less than a four percent chance of having a child.

I remember sitting in that doctor's office, staring at the wall, trying to process what that number meant. The odds were stacked against us. And I couldn't shake the feeling that the products I'd been putting on my body every single day had played a part.
